This is my city, Tehran. Did you notice the grey fog!? Pollution is the biggest problem of the my city.
PS. Sorry, I missed all your photos and failed to answer all your kind comments these few days. I had two trips out of town and visited some places around the city. I hope I find time to share some photos I took during these days.

lovely shot - it sure looks like a big city - did you really shoot it through your sunglasses?

@Art Monkey: Thanks. Yes it's impossibly big. This is just a tenth. And yes, that's the brown color of my sunglasses.

@Daroru: Thanks Daroru, my friend.
Very unique idea. Pollution is huge problem everywhere, it's an unfortunate part of today's world.

@jennifer radio: Glad you liked the shot Jennifer.
Good experiment, you have very clear sunglasses, and very warm coloured ones too.

@Richard_Irwin: The image has been sharpened in post processing, but yes, I clear my sunglasses for the shots too ;-) I appreciate your visits and comments.
Very big city... Calgary has that urban sprawl look, too! Love the effect of the sunglasses Behrooz! Good creative use of common things for a great effect! ;-)

@Lydia: I've never really reached the end point in this city. When you take the road to exit the city, the houses begin to vanish and you never know when it's out of the city. Thanks for coming by.
Lovely effect with the sunglasses Behrooz! You can make lots of home made filters (Do you have screw in filters for a Canon Powershot - I can't remember, although I used one of my granddaughter's once. But if you don't have a screw on haze filter - you can make a diffusion filter for soft portraits, etc. by stretching a piece of nylon stocking very tightly over the lens (just a medium or neutral color). For SLR's with a haze filter you can put a light coating of vaseline (petroleum jelly) smeared around the filter, leaving a clear space in the middle - makes an excellent "spot" filter for centred portrait shots, groups of flowers, etc. The filter needs a good wash in dish liquid afterwards to get the grease off.

@Anne: Wow, that was some great piece of information. Thanks Anne. I'll definitely try to do the nylon one. Actually, the camera needs an adapter to put filters on, but that piece is not available in my country. Anyway, I love doing strange things with simple elements around me, maybe when I become a better photographer, I get a cool camera.
Good thinking! very warm color that seems Tehran is burning. Nice capture!
