An old shot with the old camera...

Posted the following as a request from Dimitrios :)
Dear friends in the am3 world.
I would like to propose the publication of a couple of self portraits for Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of September. It can be anything you like, mirror images which is the easiest, reflection on a spoon! Ha-ha-ha, or even sketches of yourselves.
It will be great to see each other and to meet the talented photographers from all around the globe.
I have the greatest respect for the people that want but cannot due to cultural or religious reasons publish their image on the web.
For these am3-friends that want to participate, I kindly ask them to publish instead a picture of a place in their home town that they are proud of.
Please feel free to copy this text with your daily pictures so we have a great participation.
I am looking forward in meeting you on 28th and 29th September, see ya soon.

Well I may go tomorrow if my eyes let me. If not, you may see my self portrait with name on Sep 24th. :-)

Warum bin ich nicht überrascht, daß dieses mit Ihrer alten Kamera genommen wird? Die Farbe und die Schattenbilder sind groß - ich habe Angst, die gesamte Qualität mir erklärt, daß sobald ich sie „sah, diese sieht wie Fotos Behroozs aus, bevor er die neue Kamera erhielt“. Beeilen Sie sich herauf meinen Freund und erhalten Sie Ihre Augen wohl - die vorhergehenden Fotos mit dem neuen Objektiv sind fantastisch. Nicht ziemlich sicher anfangs was es ist - aber ich denke, daß es etwas ist, mit der Weise zu tun, die Sie mehr mit der alten Kamera schärfen mußten. Ihr blog ist gerade so groß gewesen, seit Sie das Neue erhielten! ;-)

@Anne: Thanks Anne. Is this a machine translated text? I guess I got it, but the English may help too. :P
I have lots of raw files and my failing eyes are no help in editing them. I'll do my best to keep the blog going until I'm ok.

This is really cool Behrooz!! Great angle, love the colour of the sky, and vine twinning around the lamp is so interesting!!

BTW... had a quick boo at the missed posts.. man, you are so talented!! Really loved your ghost image self-portrait!!

Hi Behrooz: Here is the English I wrote first - come to think of it - a lot may be lost in the translation unless one is writing very literally!!!!

Why am I not surprised that this is taken with your old camera? The color and silhouettes are great - I am afraid the overall quality is telling me as soon as I saw it "This looks like Behrooz's photos before he got the new camera". Hurry up my friend and get your eyes well - the previous photos with the new lens are fantastic. Not quite sure at first what it is - but I think it is something to do with the way you had to sharpen more with the old camera. Your blog has just been so great since you got the new one! (end of English)

PS. You see I don't always get over what I mean even in English. I meant to say that you had a really nice blog before the new camera, but it has been just great since the new camera!!! :-)

PPS. Don't worry about editing the RAW ones until your eyes are better. The ones from your old camera are just fine - its only when I see both of them together I can tell the difference! I am surprised you are able to see to post at all so soon after surgery!

@Anne: Anne, thanks for the English version. I guess I got it almost right, but some words has been translated to funny things, like sharpness to wisdom.
I'm quite well and today I removed the other contact lens which was in my eyes after the surgery. All I have now is a little blurred vision (mostly on the computer). I managed a shot for tomorrow and I'll see what the other days would be.
