Dimitrios called for a Graffiti theme today and tomorrow, but I couldn't find one. I saw this on the walls of a ruined house. Because of the reconstructions in Tehran many beautiful things in old houses are now just history.

That is beautiful - and while the house may be in ruins, you have captured part of its beauty forever!

Nice miniature tiles on the wall. You found a traditional and nicely colored one. Excellent.

This is very beautiful Behrooz - it would be good if you could make a photographic record of the disappearing beauty.

@Bron: Thanks Bron. I'm glad you liked it. How can I do that?
Some one has still tried to leave their mark - is it his name? The mural is exquisite.

it's sad that these things of beauty are dissapearing, but this one will always be rememberd with this capture, I agree with Bron, it would be good if you were able to go to places that still have these things left and if it is possible take a photograph.

This is beautiful; too bad somebody decided to deface that wall with the ugly black paint.

Very beautiful scene. I hope that it would be conserved.

This is a truly intricately beautiful work of art. I share Martine's hope that it will be conserved. It would indeed be a desperate shame if this is destroyed.

Good capture of the artwork and the graffiti ... I hope you go for the suggestions of keeping a record - a great idea!

I suppose you could go to the old areas and take photos of all the treasures that might be threatened by development - sharing them with us and others on the 'net is a way for history to be preserved Behrooz :)

These old tiles are indeed so very beautiful and need to be preserved. Excellent capture Behrooz! But it looks like someone was trying to deface the wall...?
